"Central to my work is the concept of pareidolia, the human tendency to perceive forms, figures, and meaning where none are explicitly defined. This invites viewers to engage personally with each artwork, forming their own interpretations and emotional connections."
— Derryn Tal
Derryn's Process
Working across multiple mediums, including acrylics, inks, charcoal, resin, pastels, spray paint, modelling paste, and raw pigments, Derryn’s practice is grounded in experimentation, exploration, and continual evolution.
Each piece develops organically through layered processes, resulting in richly detailed surfaces and dynamic compositions.
